The Dari Isle Drive-In is a seasonal summer restaurant operating spring to September. We are now hiring cooks and servers for the upcoming season.
Cooks / full-time or part-time
Cook great food. Laugh with great people. Serve a great community. DIDI is hiring part-time and full-time kitchen staff! Our kitchen is a lively, fast-paced environment, but you’re never alone. We always aim to have at least two cooks in our kitchen to ensure efficient service.
Restaurant and/or cooking experience an asset, but not necessary. We are looking for a good attitude and willingness to learn. Our team will train you to be the best cook you can be. Must be able to work weekends and evenings.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Grilling, deep-frying, cooking & baking with an oven
Washing, chopping, slicing fresh produce
Mixing ingredients, making sauces, following recipes
Keeping fridges stocked and supplies prepped
Cleaning kitchen and equipment
Must obtain a Food Handling Certificate
Skills required:Heavy lifting
Multitasking
Following instructions/recipes
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work both independently and in a team
Cleanliness
Compensation: $15.80/hour + tips
